11th International Fair ?BALTIC FURNITURE MARKET? is the most important international fair for the autumn in the Baltic furniture business. Around 28,000 visitors from 17 countries made their way to Riga for the Fair last year, which was distinguished as usual by high levels of quality and internationality. As in previous years, almost a third of visitors came from outside Latvia. The top European visitor nations this year were Switzerland, the Netherlands, Finland and Great Britain. Special trade mission came from Portugal and represented 16 companies.
Riga is a fantastic candidate for becoming a new European capital of international exhibitions, in particular furniture exhibition with a distinct concept to it. Today, this exhibition already gives a fair scope of furniture manufacturers of the Baltic countries. This Exhibition has every right to be called one of the largest and prestigious shows of furniture, fittings and interior design both in Latvia and the Baltic States. It has no equal in quality and quantity of exhibits. The number of participants is constantly growing, attracting largest domestic furniture manufacturers and newcomers to the Latvian furniture market.
