The Journey has begun …….

The 2006 Inaugural Day Spa Expo & Business Forum was the first industry event dedicated specifically to the Day Spas and designed to serve Owners and Operators and Directors.

Spa owners, operators, directors as well as estheticians, and technicians came to find all the latest products and services to fill their specific needs from a wide range of the best vendors in the industry, including companies they are not seeing at other events.

In working with the Day Spa Association we successfully developed and presented a cutting edge educational seminar program that was second to none!

Hannelore Leavy, the Executive Director of the association, as well as co-author of The Spa Encyclopedia: A Guide to Treatments & Their Benefits for Health & Healing along with Douglas Preston of Preston Inc., the Business Forum Host and Skip Williams of Resources & Development all played a major role in this highly successful, unique concept of offering strictly business focused sessions presented by industry leaders.

This unique spa event was designed and created with input from the visionaries and other spa professionals from across the country. The major consensus was that they all wanted a dedicated group of vendors so they don’t have to sort through exhibits that don’t apply to them. Ones that can specifically fill all their in-house goods, supply and inventory needs, their retail product needs, equipment & service needs, as well as their ongoing business & operational needs. They also indicated a very strong need for important information and knowledge on the major issues important to them, vital, real time, cutting edge issues and topics to help them achieve increased business and operational success.
