			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The show included a spectacular choreographed displays with high level aerial lighting effects, coloured water jets and smoke. After the show visitors followed the illuminated path around the loch and through the forest where they were be transported to a place that really is out of this world!</p>
<p>The theme for this year’s show was <em>A Journey Through Space</em>. During the event, Faskally Wood, which is managed by Forestry Commission Scotland, was transformed into an astronomical playground which marks an appropriate trailer for the approaching celebrations of International Year of Astronomy in 2009, celebrating 400 years since Galileo first looked into a telescope.</p>
<p>Visitors were met in Pitlochry’s main street by their &#8220;shuttle&#8221; bus which will took them to the launch pad at Faskally Wood. Entering the EFSA (Enchanted Forest Space Agency) for the first time, visitors had a brief astronaut training session before watching countdown commence on the main show. After lift off, visitors had the opportunity to explore their new world within the forest, making their way around the paved walk, exploring new planet landscapes, bridging the void and encountering some of our best known extra terrestrials, before &#8216;returning to Earth&#8217;. The show was an absolute success and all the area&#8217;s of Faskally Wood were lit effectively and the experience was truly out of this world.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Wickerman Trail If you would like an experience slightly like a whiskey trail – intoxicating yet scary – the wickerman trail is for you! <a href="http://www.iknow-scotland.co.uk/tourist_information/all_scotland/all_scotland/scotland_whisky_tours.htm">The Wickerman trail</a> is supposed to take place on a island off the West Highlands of Scotland but the actual filming took place in the mainland of South West Scotland, so the tour will take place in the locations of Dumfries and Galloway, showing you highlights of the film itself alongside promoting any festivals due to take place in the area.  The first day of the tour will start at the site in Kircudbright, visiting May Morrisons post office which is now Maureen Brigg’s Art Gallery, then onto the ‘lane scene’ which is right next door, where in the film a man dressed as a horse runs down the lane, this is a little interesting place which you only stumble across so take advantage of having it there for you to explore. The ruined Old Church is a 17th century building which lies within an old graveyard, once you have stepped inside the church another graveyard lies inside the church and across the road is a traditional bed and breakfast which is quiet and beautiful and set in Clachan Cottage. There are three scenes that take place in the Green Man, and this is a perfect place to relax in the beer garden over a nice cold drink to end the first day of your Wickerman Tour.  Day two takes you to visit a sleepy village called Whithorn, visiting an old library, the cliffs just outside the village, where you take a walk down long and winding paths before you are greeted by blue sky and sea and the two concrete posts which the Wickerman stood upon and then onto St.Ninian’s Caves which is without a doubt the most creepy places along the trail, the cave is suited on a deserted pebble beach and as you continue nearer to the cave you will see a mass of wooden crosses and surreal drawings on the walls.  The final part of the tour includes visiting Lochinch Castle’s gardens, Stranraer Harbour – the main waterway between Scotland and Northern Island and Logan Botanical Gardens which is on the southernmost part of Scotland – the Mull of Galloway, which involves a beautiful drive along the shore to get to the gardens.</p>

Registration fee: 35 grivnas (about 5 ?).<br />
All abstracts which will pass selection by the organizing committee, will be printed prior to the beginning of the conference. The best reports will be recommended to edition on scientific collection of works ?Aktualni problemy vichyznianoi ta vsevitnioi istorii?. </p>

The order of elements in theses: author; educational institution; the text without figures, tables, references and list of the literature. Only standard reductions allowed. </p>
<p>Attention! The organizing committee has the right to accept or decline abstracts for participation in the conference. The applications sent without theses, will not be considered. <br />
In case of the recommendation of theses to the publication by organizing committee, the author will receive invitation to take part in the conference at <br />
the end of March, 2008. <br />
